OK... So of course you are going to see these pictures and then wonder what in the world we are doing to the poor dog. No we did not just put baby socks on her for pure entertainment. Here's the story........
So We love all of our dogs here at the compound, but Grizzy would have to be I would say the nuttiest. I'm sure everyone has heard of teasing their dogs with the laser light pens, well Jaime and Tami take that statement to a whole other level. Their dogs are literally obsessed with the "RED LIGHT". They will choose to chase it around the backyard instead of eating or anything else, and this is how Jaime has decided they need their exercise. Good idea.... we all thought at the time.
Well, after about a half hour I think of us out back watching the dogs chase the read light, we decided to come in. Only at that time did we notice that there was blood all over the place. We of course freaked out, because our dogs are like our babies. Upon inspection we found out that Grizzy had literally ran so much to chase the red light, that she ran her nails off; they were down to the pads of her paws poor thing. Needless to say, we will walk the dogs next time we want to give them a little more exercise.
